The âme pure™ CIT Roller is a definitive skin rescue option, simple yet effective and suitable for all skin types and skin tones. The CIT Roller has laser-like results for stretch mark removal, acne scars, sun damaged skin, lines, and wrinkles. The âme pure™ CIT roller results include skin tightening, skin texture improvement, pore size reduction and improved capillary blood supply.
"The âme pure™ CIT Roller is very popular for several reasons: it causes significant skin tightening, thickens very thin skin, evens out pigmentation and is very affordable, especially when compared to fractional lasers."
What is the âme pure™ CIT Roller?
The âme pure™ CIT Roller is a cylindrical shaped drum studded with very fine needles. It is a device used in Collagen Induction Therapy to break down old scar tissue and to stimulate skin cells to proliferate. This cell multiplication results in the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibers (neo-collagenesis) as well as in new capillaries for an improved blood supply (neo-angiogenesis). The procedures are called Scar Reduction Therapy (SRT) and Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT).
Collagen Induction Therapy with âme pure™ CIT Roller works by stimulating your own body’s collagen. Your body will start to naturally regenerate the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. New skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced. It takes a couple of weeks before visible signs of regeneration appear and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a gradual and long lasting enhancement.
Scar Reduction Therapy with âme pure™ CIT Roller works by releasing old fibrotic scar tissue deep within the skin. Scar tissue is what creates visible scars on the skin’s surface. The treatment will repair the skin naturally, working below the surface in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen and elastin fibers are formed, softening scars, generating new skin cells and enhancing blood supply.
What are the differences to other skin renewal techniques?
In contrast to all ablative techniques like lasers and fractional laser treatments, the âme pure™ CIT roller stimulates new tissue formation – it acts constructively and the skin remains intact. The skin does not get damaged (unlike it is with other needling devices) and therefore will not go into a wound healing response (no scabs). The âme pure™ CIT Roller significantly minimizes atrophic scars & improves skin texture.
What effects does the âme pure™ CIT Roller have on the skin?
The âme pure™ CIT Roller improves the thickness of the dermis as well as the epidermis. This in return improves skin texture and reduces wrinkles. It also has a positive effect on hyper-pigmentation as well as on hypo-pigmentation. It reduces disfiguring scars and acne scars, stimulates new collagen fibers, improves blood supply and harmonizes pigmentation.
Can the âme pure™ CIT Roller be used on any skin color?
Since the âme pure™ CIT Roller does not use thermal heat (unlike IPL & lasers) it is safe to use on all skin types and all skin colors. There is no risk of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation
Is the 540 needle roller better than 192 needle roller?
Beware of cheap 540 "needle" versions. They are not suitable for the skin and may cause damage.
We do not recommend these types of “needles”. There simply are no clinical results available for this type of roller. The manufacturer, in our opinion, wanted to launch a “special” roller and did that by offering more “needles”. However, that would be expensive and impractical, construction-wise, so they created an entire row of “needles” by stamping discs that create miniature knives - not needles.
What is the downtime after âme pure™ CIT Roller treatment?
The inflammatory reaction of the skin is extremely short and fades significantly within hours from redness to pinkish that may last for 8 to 12 hours on average. We recommend rolling at night as it is the best time for the skin to rest and regenerate. Your skin should get back to normal by the next morning.
What products are recommended to use in conjunction with the âme pure™ CIT Roller?
As the skin pores are opened during treatment, the topical application of 100% organic and natural products is essential. The absorption of products directly after the CIT Roller treatment is increased 10,000 times. It is for this reason why you should only use âme pure® natural SkinCare products during this crucial stage of treatment.
How long does it take to see improvement in the skin with Collagen Induction Therapy?
The effects of CIT Roller and skin healing results are very individual.
However, after using CIT Roller, you will notice changes in your skin in the first weeks after the first treatment as the skin renews itself and collagen regrows.
Collagen remodeling in normal skin takes at least 60 days, so the effects of this treatment may not be fully appreciated for at least one month after the procedure. But the effects last for years in most people.
How long do the effects of Collagen Induction Therapy last?
The new collagen produced by CIT lasts for a long time, unless the skin is further damaged by sun exposure, smoking, or other external factors. As the skin ages, some of the new collagen will also age.
The CIT Roller is ideal for the following skin concerns:
- Acne scar removal
- Stretch mark removal
- Enlarged pores
- Reduce scars from surgery or burns
- Pigmentation or uneven skin tone
- Wrinkle reduction
- Tighten sagging skin
- Normalize oily skin
- Smooth skin texture
